While there is limited data available for this area there has been sufficient data on recruitment through tagging to provide low reliability forecasts. This will become more important as commercial effort is likely to increase in the area following the introduction of Net Free Zones in the Fitzroy River resulting in a shift in effort.

The area covered includes Herbert Creek and Broadsound. Suntag maps HCK, BSD and TOR cover the area included.
